Worth quoting
What gets the certificate open first time
- The lot number from the base of the bottle. It opens the certificate, the retention sample and the release date together.
- Which test you are asking about, if you already know. Most questions are about strength or heavy metals.
- Your order number, or the delivery address if the number has gone.
- What you would like to happen. A certificate sent, a return opened, a retest run, a replacement despatched.
- The mobile number if the question concerns texts, so the right record is worked.
What we can and cannot answer
- Can send the full certificate for any lot, with every limit and result, at no charge.
- Can run a retest from the retention sample if you have a reason to doubt a figure, also at no charge.
- Can open a return or a replacement the same working day.
- Can take a number off the text list at once, without asking why.
- Cannot advise on dose, interaction or suitability. Nobody in a laboratory is your clinician and we say so rather than guess.
- Cannot make a health claim. Asked whether something treats a condition, the honest answer is that it is a dietary supplement and it does not.
